The Top 10 Brands of Skin-care Products Market are Losing Market Share
1,Skin Care Products Market Concentration Degree Continues to Decline
According to the supervision of (CNBIC)China National Business Information Center over brands with competitive advantages in national major large-scale retailers, the market concentration degree of Chinese skin care products sees a fall of five years in succession since 2012. The comprehensive market share of top ten brands and the top twenty brands declines seperately by 4.1% and 5.6%.

2,The leading brands have an obviously less difference and more severe competition regarding market share.
According to statistics, the competition among the leading brands of skin-care products is more severe in 2016, with the market share difference between the fist brand and the tenth brand lowering by 0.9%, in comparison with the difference between the fist brand and the twentieth brand.

3,LANCOME surpasses Olay in market performance, the top ten strong brands lose their market share
According to the statistics of CNCIC, the top ten strong brands have a stable performance in 2016, with L'oreal and Estee Lauder keep the first two positions in the market. However, LANCOME makes an outstanding performance, replacing Olay to be the third-ranked brand. Moreover, the top ten strong brands all lose some market share, comparing with last year.

4, From the eleventh to the twentieth: local brands are on the rise.
Local brands achieve a remarkable performance, which can be concluded from the ranking list of skin-care product brands from the top eleventh to the top twentieth. Pechoin is ranked sixteenth, rising from the fourteenth of last year; Marubi is ranked eighteenth in the market, while last year it is still out of the top twenty brands. Besides, Yuesai is also rising in the top twenty brands. Though it has been purchased by L'oreal, it is still a brand with strong local flavor.
