Ms. Cao Xuejun believed that the near future period will be the best time for China cleaning industry to implement transformation and upgrading, and speed up high quality development. She said, strict supervision for environmental protection provides a fair competition environment for cleaning industry, and the mechanism for selecting the superior and eliminating the inferior plays to its full function to speed up the closing-down of enterprises with low efficiency, backward production facilities and pollution; consumption upgrade toward personalization, convenience and safety offers market potential for product differentiation, functionality and superiority development, facilitating the upgrade of cleaning industry and the enhancement of additional value; the development of information, automation and intelligence technology technically supports cleaning industry to improve quality and efficiency, conserve energy and reduce emission. She also made some points on the development of China cleaning industry, including strengthening the research and promotion of key generic technology, giving full play to the leading and exemplary role of intelligence manufacturing, continuing the work on the concentration trend of cleaning product, doing research on the establishment of cleaning product and raw material safety evaluation system and strengthening the building of brands in cleaning product industry.
The theme of “transform the way of thinking, promote high quality development” fits the times very well, according to Du Tonghe, general secretary of CNLIC. It is inevitable that the change of quantity will cause the change of quality after a certain period. Promoting high quality development is the fundamental requirement for determining the development path, making economic policies, and conducting macroeconomic regulation at present and in the period to come. As long as seizing the moment to facilitate qualitative change, the development will take to the air. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, pointed out, in the background of our economic structure changing tremendously, consumption upgrading in a faster pace and innovation entering into an active stage, if we don’t change our way of thinking, but keep lingering in the past, we will not only feel difficult to develop an outlet, but also lose the good opportunity. The economic goal of China’s economic development has changed greatly, so in the face of new situation, new market, new structure and new demand, cleaning industry, pertinent to people’s livelihood, should change the way of thinking as well. The market is changing quickly, from internet to mobile internet, from big data to cloud computing, from traditional manufacturing to intelligence manufacturing. In these changes, some enterprises seize the opportunity and realize development, but there are also some enterprises still lingering in the original place and even lagging behind their competitors. The basic difference lies in whether managers embrace the change of time. If we don’t follow the trend, stand still and refuse to make progress, the opportunity will be none. Whoever accepts the new concepts in the face of tide and trend will probably take the first chance.

She also applied detailed and accurate charts and data to analyze the development of cleaning product industry in 2018 and development trend of international cleaning industry.
President Zheng Wuhong also shared her view on the hot issues in cleaning industry. She said that the reform of consumer market will lead to the reforming and refreshing of the whole value chain. The change of consumers can directly affect the change of marketing system, product and brand system, research and development, production system, product supply chain as well as equipment. She believed that the change of channel will force businesses to build up new marketing system to adapt to the change of consumers, and the demand of consumers will reverse the pressure on the change of businesses’ research and development system. Manufacturing requires both scale and involvement in market. The new situation also proposes new demand for purchase and supply, and production equipment should also keep abreast with the demand of production.
